At the 2009 BOTI Finals, Publisher Michael Ferrara piloted the 1,100WHP DSPORT RH9 GT-R to a personal best elapsed time of 9.86-second while reaching a best trap speed of 149MPH. The car was testing Nitto’s NT05R drag radial tires mounted on 17×9.5-inch Enkei RPF1. While cast wheels are typically heavier than forged, the 17-inch Enkei wheel/Nitto Tire combination was a full pound lighter than the Volk Racing/BFG 18-inch wheel/tire combo it replaced. The DSPORT RH9 GT-R is on a mission to be the first true-street GT-R to run in the 8s. Stay Tuned. – D-Sport
